The confusion should be over by now - how many people do you need to tell you the genre is humour, there is nothing so obvious and spectacular as when you open your mouth (easily, it seems) and something sharp/fast/funny/punctures the silence like fireworks!

Me just coming back from a semi relaxed somewhat boring camping holiday in France, feeling at point zero on creativity and business.
(Holiday was: Being surrounded by crying babies when travelling with teenagers, the paralysing heat wave, seeing many Dutchies visiting the same places egghh🥴, please remind me never to do this type of holiday again…even when my hubby and daughter really enjoy it).
I know just moving my hands will do the trick for me to get going again, thats why the morningpages are so healing. Just picking up some markers and trust the process, as forcing oneselves into awesome creation will not work. So for now I allow myself to float on whatever is coming…connect to what is..who is…and then something will happen.
From someone who also has this brain and has multiple notebooks, Trello boards, notes in the app, and a few more places to squirrel away all the ideas my best advice is - pick one thing, write it, edit it, and publish it. For me, it's what works because if I sit too long I get lost in the ideas and then analysis paralysis sets in and I do none of the things.
I love writing and have always loved writing. Now, I write and have people that are enjoying it. To make it enjoyable for me when I can feel the "oh no, who are you to write" come on and it does then I have to remember the joy I get from writing and be like Nike and just do it!
My other little trick I've been using lately is that one article a week must be published. It doesn't matter what is happening an article comes out and that has helped me because I now have paid subscribers and I love writing for all my readers but I also am so grateful that I have people in my sphere that also enjoy the writing enough to be a paid subscriber and I want to put out good content for them.
